- Excavate the project area to desired depth. 7.5″ for a walkway or patio; 9.5″ for a driveway
- Install Aggregate base and compact to a rate of 95%
- Install Mason’s sand and screed to a level surface
- Install Pavers
- Compact Pavers
- Brush in jointing sand
- Lightly water to solidify jointing sand
Retaining & Freestanding Walls
Commonly any landscape wall is known as a Retaining Wall however, there is a simple difference. A Retaining Wall is used to hold back steep slopes, hills and the like and therefore uses an interlocking brick in order to maintain the structural integrity of the wall. A Freestanding or Landscape Wall would be used in a lighter application to create segments in a landscape project or raised bench seating.
- Excavate the project area to desired depth. At least 4″ below the height of one brick.
- Install Aggregate base and compact to a rate of 95%.
- Install and level bricks placing the entire first level below grade.
Synthetic Turf
With the current drought and restricted watering schedules, keeping a green lawn is nearly impossible. However, with the new developments in synthetic turf, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. A big, beautiful green lawn can still be achieved, maintenance and water free.
- Remove existing sod and soil
- Install and compact aggregate base
- Install synthetic turf and cut to fit
- Apply infill and broom in
